Individual abstracts can be submitted to any of the pre-arranged sessions as well as to a generic, independent paper section in case one’s paper does not fit with any of the sessions that deal with more specific topics. The full list of all sessions can be found below. The individual abstract has to include basic information about its author, its title and an abstract of no more than 300 words and a few basic keywords about the proposed presentation. Normally the contributor can expect to have 20-25 minutes for the presentation and 5-10 minutes for questions. There are different options for submitting the individual paper abstract:
- Open session. One can submit an abstract to any of the open sessions, should any of the topics raised therein appear particularly intriguing and inviting. The Chair of the session and the Scientific Committee will review your paper. If the Session Chair(s) find(s) your abstract unsuitable for his/her panel, the Scientific Committee will re-evaluate your abstract as an independent paper.
- Closed session. Only those with a pre-arranged agreement with the Chair of the session can submit their abstracts to a closed session. These are only open to people with such an agreement. The Chair of the session and the Scientific Committee will review your paper.
- Independent paper. One can submit an independent paper in case none of the open or closed sessions relate to one’s presentation plans. The Scientific Committee will review your abstract. It is up to the conference organizers to organize approved independent papers into sessions.
You can find the full list of all approved sessions here: EASR 2019 Sessions-1.
